Brief Overview of the Alimah Course

Introduction

Allah Ta’ala states in the Noble Qur’an :

“And he who has been given understanding of religion has indeed been given a great amount of goodness.” (2-269)

Hadrat Anas bin Mâlik radiyallahu anhu narrates that Rasûlullâh Salllallahu alai wa sallam, said, “Seeking knowledge is obligatory on every Muslim.” (Ibn Mâjah, Al-Bayhaqî).

Hadrat Abu Dardâ radiyallahu anhu narrates that Rasûlullâh Salllallahu alai wa sallam said, “Allah will make the path to Paradise easy for that person who travels in order to seek knowledge. Definitely, the angels place their wings beneath the feet of the seeker of knowledge out of happiness with his action.” (Abû Dâwûd, Tirmidhî, An-Nasaî, Ibn Mâjah, Ibn Hibbân, Al-Bayhaqî, At-Tabrânî)

Hadrat Abu Umâmah radiyallahu anhu narrates that Rasûlullâh Salllallahu alai wa sallam said, “The superiority of a learned person over a worshipper is like my superiority over the lowest of you.” (Tirmidhî)

Basic Course Details

The Alimah course at Madrasah Tarbiyatul Banaat is five years. The first two years are during the evenings (after school) in the weekdays and during the day in the weekends, the remaining years will be full time. We also provide a complete five year full time program for Alimah and Hifdh for girls from 2022 inshallah. Under 16s can apply for homeschooling and join the full time classes.

The course focuses on Tarbiyah (spiritual nurturing and upbringing) together with academics.

Urdu language
Arabic Literature
Cooking, sewing and embroidery
Extra subjects: Teaching in Makatib, writing Maqaalahs, Islaahi Majlis etc
