In the Name of Allaah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

We have received your query dated 01/10/2021, our response is as follows:

Before commenting on the clip that was sent, we would like to mention a few points:

  1. It is impermissible for a male to look at a woman who is not his Mahram (unless there is a valid reason), in the Qur’an (Surah Nur) we have been instructed to lower our gazes, by watching such videos we will he looking at non-mahram, this will have a detrimental effect on our Imaan. Furthermore, our Akabireen and senior Muftiyaan-e-Kiraam have prohibited the viewing of videos containing animate objects.
  2. We should avoid all activities which will be of no considerate benefit in the hereafter, browsing through YouTube and watching challenges against Islam ultimately contains no considerate benefit for ones after life:

عن ابن عباس رضي الله عنهما قال‏:‏ قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم‏:‏ ‏ “‏ نعمتان مغبون فيهما كثير من الناس‏:‏ الصحة، والفراغ‏”‏ ‏(‏‏(‏رواه البخاري‏)‏‏)

Hadrat Abdullah Ibn Abbas (May Allah be pleased with him) reported:

Messenger of Allah () said, “There are two blessings in which many people incur loss. (They are) health and free time (for doing good)”.

So let’s not be from amongst those that incur loss in their free time.

Commenting on the video, we will do this based on the timeline of the video (please note, we had not viewed the visual clip, but rather sufficed on the audio):

From the onset, it seems that she is not really interested in seeking the truth, the following statement of hers eludes towards to this, wherein she states:

میرا طرف سے امتحان ہے

This is a clear indication that her object is merely to see if the Muslims can answer her or not.

1:45 – “ this is to see how much you know , can you get me back or not

Hidayat is in the control of Allah Ta’ala, many Muslims have made detailed responses to her and she has not shown any interest , ( we will comment on this further )

2:18 – “ show your mullahs , imams and shaykh , I don’t care

This again proves her insincerity.

3:41 – “ if you can not answer then you have to leave Islam

Was not the purpose of the questions to bring her back into Islam? Why has she turned the tables?

This clearly shows that there is an ulterior motive. She intends to confuse the viewers, one should not fall trap to such deceptions.

8:37 – “ you know nothing , I know everything

Why would “one who knows everything” seek answers from one “who knows nothing”?

13:44 “ your mullahs will not answer because they do not want you to know the truth

One should not be fooled by the above claim, any Aalim in the world will happily answer their questions if the person posing the questions is sincere and is not doing so merely for likes and comments.

It is clear from the above that this lady has an ulterior motive and she is acquiring fame by luring Muslims to her cauldron. She benefits financially from making such videos; thus, we should avoid watching such clips (and encourage others as well), so that we do not support her mission.

After research we have come to know that many people have responded to her claims but she has not shown any interest.

Lastly, we would like to mention the famous hadeeth of Rasoolullah Sallalahu Alayhi Wasallam

Hadrat Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported:

Messenger of Allah Sallalahu alai wa sallam said, “It is from the excellence of (a believer’s) Islam that he should shun that which is of no concern to him”

The above Hadeeth is sufficient as an answer; however, we have dissected her claims in our answer in order to remove any misconceptions.

For further detail on the questions raised by her you may refer to the following places in Ma’ariful Qur’an by Mufti Muhammad Shafee Saheb Rahmatullahi Alayhi :

  1. Verse 105 , Surah Nisaa. Page 534 , Volume 2.
  2. Verse 31 and 32 , Surah Aal Imraan. Page 53 , Volume 2 .
  3. Verse 69 , Suran Nisaa. Page 465 , Volume 2 .
  4. Verse 28 and 29 , Surah Al Fath . Page 87 , Volume 8.

If you wish for further clarification on her objections, then we are happy to discuss the issues in person at the Darul Ifta once Covid restrictions ease.

We should continue to make Dua for her guidance.

And Allah Ta’ala knows best
