Muhtaram
السلام عليكم و رحمة الله و بركاته
حامدا و مصليا و مسلما
In this world people are confronted with different kinds of problems, collectively or individually, some in their business, some in their homes, whilst others in their families. It should be borne in mind that whatever problems and conditions befall us; they are all from no other being besides Allah Ta’ala. We should accept it to be from Allah Ta’ala and at the same time have full conviction that the solution will also come from Allah Ta’ala.
Practising on Deen (in totality) is the only solution. Once a person turns his attention towards Allah Ta’ala then Allah Ta’ala will solve all his problems from the unseen. So turn to Allah Ta’ala, perform Salaat-ul-Haajat and beseech His help for the solutions to your problems and that he grants you Aafiyiat (i.e. peace, well-being and prosperity).
Everyone desires to live in peace and comfort without any problems but this is virtually impossible for one to attain in this temporary world and life. Allah Ta’ala has kept complete success, salvation, peace and comfort in following our beautiful Deen of Islam that will ultimately lead to Jannah, where there will be no worries, difficulties, problems or depression but rather total happiness and satisfaction. Allah Ta’ala has promised this for those servants who have perfect Imaan and do righteous deeds.
However, many a time, difficulties and problems are a means of elevation in the eyes of Allah Ta’ala. Hakeemul Ummat Hazrat Maulana Ashraf Ali Thanwi Rahimahullah has mentioned a Hadeeth in his book Shawq-e-Watan (Desire for the Aakhirah) that on the plains of Qiyaamat, a person will witness the amazing bounties bestowed upon those people who endured difficulties in this world, seeing this, one will desire that if one also endured a tribulation in the world wherein one’s body were to be cut up with scissors, so that they may also be bestowed with such bounties. (Attargeeb-vl.4-pg.282)
Hadrat Mus’ab bin Sad radiyallahu anhuma narrates from his father that he once asked Nabi Sallallahu alai wa sallam which person is the most tested? Rasulullah Sallaahu alaihi wa sallam replied that the messengers of Allah Ta’ala are the most tested (with difficulties), thereafter it is those that are most similar to them.
A man is tested in proportion to his Deen, if his Deen is strong then likewise will be his test. The slave of Allah Ta’ala constantly experiences difficulties until he walks on the earth free from sins. (Attargeeb-vl.4.pg.281)
For this reason, we should never despair, but rather our focus should be directed towards Allah Ta’ala at all times!
We have mentioned some Dua’s which you could recite. These Duas are verses from the Noble Qur’an which the pious Ulama had recited and they had experienced tremendous benefit. Allah Ta’ala mentions in the Noble Qur’an that the Qur’an is a Shifaa (cure). Therefore, we should read these verses with firm Yaqeen (conviction) on Allah Ta’ala, together with avoiding all sin.
Finally, one should try to wake up in the last portion of the night and beseech Allah Ta’ala for Shifaa and beg for one’s forgiveness. Furthermore, one should try to give some Sadaqa and exercise Sabr (patience).
